This project deals with relationship between architecture and obesity. It explores the impact of the education system and architecture schools in the creation of obesity. The aim of the project is a new and different way of functioning of schools, emerged from the spatial organization and design, which addresses a specific problem – obesity. Project establishes the typological hybrid that consists of school, housing, diet space and space for growing plants, all embedded in the polygon space for recreation and play.
Ovaj projekat se bavi odnosom arhitekture i gojaznosti. Obuhvata istraživanje uticaja obrazovnog sistema i arhitekture škola na […]

The aim of this project is to explore in which way the elements of soft nonlinear systems such as: dynamics, capacity to manage and process the move, changes and diversity, constant changes and sensibility  can be applied within the field of architecture. The system of the artificial landscape is designed. Its permanent change is achieved through form and coloring. System is created through unit design. Unit – plant pot, changes its height depending on position of surrounding pots, sun and maturity of plant product. Mechanism is artificial, but the change is caused by nature impact, only. Landscape program combines […]

This project concerns itself with a suburban landscape which finds itself on the intersection between parks and farming grounds, combining these two usages inside a matrix which ensures ease of mobility, but also usefulness when it comes to growing edible plant cultures. Morphology that ensures this hybridization is known as “raised bed farming” in horticulture. This approach maximizes arable land all the while leaving space in between that can be used as a means of communication. The resulting landscape is a product of terrain manipulation guided by simple rules for raised bed farming through the usage of […]

This project engages with the relationship between human and animal habitats. It is concerned with the position of the live stock food production within the city limits; and investigates relationship between residential ares and farming landscapes. Moreover the project aims to establish beneficial relationship between recreational grounds, such as city parks and farming land such as grazing field. The intent is to create space whereby production and processing of food are in direct contact with consumer.

Ovaj projekat se bavi povezivanjem prebivališta ljudi i životinja. Obuhvata pitanje proizvodnje hrane životinjskog porekla unutar gradskih okvira; i istražuje […]

COOKERY LANDSCAPE
The aim of this work is to explore if the concept of soft nonlinear systems can be applied within the field of architecture. If we would recognize properties of the soft nonlinear system such as: dynamics, capacity to manage and process the move, changes and diversity, their parts are inseparable from the whole, hierarchy, constant changes which manifest new properties, sensibility; the goal would be to explore the way such properties, primarily non architectural, could manifest through architectural program and form. The project theme is cookery which changes the perception of food,  as a part of the system which includes: […]

THE COLONY
The colony is the manner of living together in close association in order to survive and produce food. When forming colonies species inhabit new areas and integrate into the existing communities. One such example are bacteria which form large colonies with intricate relations between their members to provide for their nutrition and survival.  This project will explore principles of organic growth in heterotrophic colonies and will try to find their application in architecture. The intent is avoid formal determinacy and look for way to structure processes which will enable adaptability  and flexibility of spatial structures.

THE RITUAL
This project researches into the role of everyday rituals and social processes in the formation of space. In line with the given framework probing into the relation between the food and space, this study investigates various cultural patterns shaping the space around us; and  resulting with the authentic places.
Naspram negativnih apekata savremene prehrambene industrije, u ovom […]

SLOW SPACE
The focus of this thesis is to investigate the role of food consumption as a trigger for an architectural experience, resulting in designing an infrastructure which will serve as base for temporary public events and socializing. The research is based on the notion that we live in a fast paced world today, where we don’t stop often enough to enjoy our daily activities and we’ve somehow ceased to appreciate the fine aspects of things we come to pass with daily such as food, as well as our environment. With this in mind as well as the […]

OBESITY
This project studies obesity. It will try to unravel relationship between dietary habits, education and architecture. Obesity is a medical condition in which excess body fat has accumulated to the extent that it may have a negative effect on health. Such condition may be understood as an access accumulation of  energy in an organism, created by the disbalance between calories consumed and discharged. This is a consequence of several intertwined factors such as: genetic, psychological, cultural, social and environmental. This project will explore the relevance obesity and the idea of energy accumulation in architecture, both as a theoretical model […]
