Ambicija ovog projekta je bazirana na stvaranju povoljne i efemerne mikroklime u javnom prostoru pomoću javnog tuša dizajniranog sa ciljem poboljšanja i manipulacije vlažnosti vazduha, te tako oblikujući cirkulaciju vlage kao i ljudi u javnom prostoru.
Struktura tuša okačena je o postojeće prostorne elemente okruženja – drveće i pripadajuće objekte. Tuš se sastoji od dva paralelna smaknuta sistema, prvi služi kao sistem prskalica, povećavajući nivo vlažnosti u vazduhu, a drugi kao tuš za okolne posetioce. Gradivni elementi su PVC cevi i 4 vrste čvorova, zavisno od broja štapova koji se u prostoru presecaju. Vodu za tuš greje sunčeva energija, dok prskalice hlade prostor u pravcu duvanja vetra.
The ambition of our project is based on creating useful and friendly microclimates in public spaces, trough a public shower designed for augmenting, enhancing and manipulating water vapor and therefore creatively shaping the air humidity and people’s behavior in the public space.
The shower structure is suspended from the existing surrounding spatial elements – trees and buildings. It is made out of two parallel and dispositioned systems, the first is a sprinkler system with the aim of contributing to the air humidity, and the second is a “traditional” shower for the visitors. The building elements of the shower structure are made out of PVC pipes and 4 kinds of intersection elements, depending on the number of pipes intersecting at a single point in space. The shower water is heated by the sun, while the sprinkler system cools down the surrounding downwind area.
