The analysis of comlex sociological factors and built environment has provided a number of  input parameters for shaping and redefinig the city block. Architecture becomes a living part of this complexity. It plays a role of the urban parasite– indicator that has chosen to adapt right in that moment in that segment and in that way. The city block becomes the field of relations and reactions, a scenery of many interwoven influences.
The “extension” of the city block represents not only an extension of the built structure but also a redefinition of the interwoven functions and their mutual […]

The edge effect is observed as an ecotone, transitional area between two adjacent ecosystems with the tendency to show its one features. Boundary zone between urban fabric, river and public park Kalemegdan is seen as a family of  lines  determining  a new beginning, not an end. Project is a research of diverse boundary thresholds and  interpretations of   a public space as something half way between the forest and the beach. A  mechanism of gradient control is established  to control the  space and its transitional connection with the existing context.
Efekat ivice  je intepretiran kako ekoton, granična oblast […]

The  ideais to explore and propose use of L-systems as a new form of diagram research that would be applicable in the experimental architectural programs and practices. The survey is made in a light of L-systems as a form of technical, analytical and visual, architectural and theoretical thinking. Selected generic principle is assumed as a rule, method of functioning based on the initial set of parameters translated into an algorithm and guidelines for the spatial and programmatic architectural design and interaction within it. Parametric variations in geometry gained on the basis of the L-systems logic are shown through a sequence. […]

[e]The Water pavilion is an open air public space, located exactly above the water surface. Steel structure is rooted in the river bed, and connected with the existing river bank by the pedestrian bridges. Cascading floor layout is planed for easy access to different size boats and varied water-levels. During the summer period, pavilion functions as a public beach, where cascading surface enables direct contact with the water. The Water Pavilion is conceived as an initial intervention within the future transformation of the Port of Belgrade. With minimal changes of the existing surroundings, and contrasting the industrial ambiance, pavilion is conceived as a new […]
