1112AA Building Fashion

Back from Paris and the amazing Building Fashion, Architectural Association’s Global Programme. Eleven day studio agenda titled Encoded Augmentations was set to fuse knowledge of augmentation and disproportion from cosmetic plastic surgery and fashion industry with an architectural memento. Many thanks to AA Paris Director Jorge Ayala and Studio Tutors Julia Koerner, Adam Vukmanov and Riyad Joucka. Special thanks to all students from my studio: Shara Borzoui, Vishnu Vardhan, Maria-Thala Al-Aswad, Kevin Hung , Phoebe Wen, JinJu Kim and Minh-Luc Pham.

Inconsistencies v0.3 Over the period of the last twelve months, 4of7 architects have conducted several workshops to explore structural capabilities of ‘inconsistent’ building materials. All experiments are based on widely accessible resources, often used in everyday life, and easy to do techniques.
